12 Day Natural Landscape And Ancient City Tour

DAY 1: ARRIVAL – BEIJING (D)
Arrive Beijing International Airport by international flight. Upon arrival, you will be directly transferred to the hotel for recovery of Jetlag. Stay in the Grand View Hotel 4 * or Similar

DAY 2: BEIJING (B/L/D)
Today you will visit Solemn Tiananmen Square where every morning at sunrise, the Five-Star red flag would be raised high above the square. Then the tour continues to magnificent Forbidden City, the world’s largest and best-preserved imperial palace complex. Surrounded by a massive moat and a ten-meter high wall are 9,999 rooms – just one room short of the number that ancient Chinese believed represented divine perfection. In the afternoon you will take a leisurely walk around the breath-taking Summer Palace, a veritable museum of classical Chinese garden architecture with its bold and generous design. After dinner stay in same hotel.

DAY 3: BEIJING — XI’AN (B/L/D)
Today your journey to The Great Wall of China, the only monument that transcends the atmospheric eye. This great wonder of the world was built to keep invaders out while retaining the locals, and spans over 5 provinces, totaling 6,700 kilometers.
Afternoon visit the Ming Tombs mausoleums which comprises of a perfectly preserved necropolis for 13 emperors. After dinner go to Xi’an by air ( 2 hours). Tonight check into King Dynasty Hotel 5* or similar.

DAY 4: XI’AN (B/L/D)
Xi’an the capital of the Shaanxi Province is a world-renowned ancient city, having more than 1 million years of condensed history. During Xian’s 3,100 years of development, 13 dynasties such as Zhou, Qin, Han and Tang, held it as their capitals.
Today you will visit Terracotta Warriors and the Horses of Emperor Qin. This site is the most significant archeological excavation of the 20th century and the museum spans an area of 16,300 square meters. In the afternoon visit Hua Qing Hot Springs where emperors used to bathe and enjoy the scenic beauty and you will ascend to City Wall preserved from Ming Dynasty. After dinner enjoy Tang Dynasty Singig and Dancing show. Stay in same hotel.

DAY 5:XI’AN – Chengdu (B/L/D)
This morning you will fly to Chegndu (1.5 hours), capital of Sichuan Province, Upon arrival drive 162km to Leshan to visit the magnificent Leshan Buddha. The giant Buddha, carved out of a hillside in the eighth century and looking down on the junction of three rivers, is one of the most remarkable cultural treasures in Southwest China. At a height of 71 metres, it is the largest stone Buddha in the world. Return to Chengdu city and taste Sichuan hot pot dinner before check into Minshan Hotel 4*.

DAY 6:Chengdu — Nine Village valley (B/L/D)
This morning visit elegant River View Park and historic Thatched Cottage of Du Fu. After lunch board on flight for Jiuzhaigou (Nine village valley), jiuzhaigou is a national nature reserve. it has been known throughout the world as a “ paradise in the human world ” and “ fairyland on the earth “ for its crystal lakes and waterfalls, virgin forests, rare animals, and birds.
Upon arrival of Jiuhuang Airport you will be transferred to Jiuzhaigou by bus and after dinner check into 4 start hotel in jiuzhaigou.

DAY 7:Nine Village valley (B/L/D)
After breakfast in the hotel, you will be transferred to jiuzhaigou by non-pollution bus, visit shuzheng and zezawa valley; pearl sands and shuzheng waterfall; shuzheng, panda, chang, rainbow, tiger, rhinoceros lake and the Tibetan mills. In the evening enjoy the local Tibetan countryman’s culture show .Stay in the same hotel.

DAY 8:Nine Village valley — Chengdu – Shanghai (B/L/D)
After breakfast in the hotel, goes to Jiuhuang Airport to catch flight for Chengdu then connect the flight for Shanghai ( 2 hours), Upon arrival of Shanghai visit “Bund”, water front of Huangpu River and Jade Buddha Temple – a venerable site that holds two statues entirely craved out of white jade. Following dinner check into Golden River View Hotel for rest.

DAY 9: SHANGHAI – SUGZHOU (B/L/D)
This morning you will go to Suzhou, known as a city of garden and silk. The tour includes visiting Lion Grove Garden and Fish-Net Garden, both world cultural heritage sites. In the afternoon visit silk mill to see the process of Chinese pure silk making and take Grand Canal cruise by pleasure boat. Tonight stay in the Bamboo Grove Garden Hotel 4* at Suzhou.

Day 10: SUZHOU – SHANGHAI (B/L/D)
This morning return back Shanghai, visit famous Shanghai Museum where various unearthed ware from different dynasties were exhibited. After lunch Wander along China’s premier shopping street, Nanjing Road. This pedestrian only lane houses over 600 businesses ranging from traditional textile and precious stone shops to upscale stores like Louis Vuitton and Tiffany’s as well as knock-off products market. In the evening you have chance to enjoy fabulous acrobatic show in the local theater. Stay in the same hotel.

Day 11: SHANGHAI (B)

DAY 12: SHANGHAI— HOME (B/L)

Yangtze Victoria Cruise Tour

Day 1 : Arrival – BEIJING (-/-/-)China Tours
Arrive in Beijing , met your guide and transfer to the hotel.

Day 2 : Beijing (B/ L/ D)
After breakfast you will visit Tiananmen Square, the world’s largest public square and the site of many famous assemblies. Walking across the Golden River Bridge, enter the Forbidden City, It has 9000-room maze of courtyards, places, and ceremonial halls, where 24 emperors used to live. We next roll over to the Summer Palace ,with its cool features – water, gardens and hills – was the palace of choice for vacationing emperors and Dowager Empresses. After dinner we enjoy the Chinese Opera Show.

Day 3 : Beijing (B/ L/ D)
Head for the The Great Wall, which stretches for over 6000 km, and was originally built to protect China from the barbarians. You can walk and climb on your own pace or enjoy spectacular views from the cable car. Then you will visit the Dingling (one of Ming tombs). In the evening, you will enjoy the best Peking Duck dinner.

Day 4 : Beijing – Xian (B/ L/ D)
After breakfast, we visit the Temple of Heaven,where the emperor and his 1000 member entourage would retreat twice a year for religious ritual. Later you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Xian city, where your guide will meet in the airport and take you to the hotel , we will have the opportunity to view the Bell Tower and the massive 40-feet City Wall. The Imperial Dumpling Banquet Dinner will be served for our dinner tonight.

Day 5 : Xian (B/ L/ D)
Visit some marvelous historical sites in and around this most ancient of cities, which was the national capital for over 1,000 years. You will visit the Terra-Cotta Warriors of Qinshihuang and the Hua Qin Hot Spring. In the evening, we are treated to a local cuisine hot pot and you will enjoy the colorful Tang Dynasty Show.

Day 6 : Xian – Guilin (B/ L/ D)
Complete our city tour of Xian with a visit to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda before heading to the airport and fly to Guilin. Upon arrival, we visit the Reed Flute Cave.It is Guilin’s largest and most impressive cave, Its explained by the fact that reeds for making flutes and pipes have been grown in this region since ancient times. Elephant Trunk Hill is Located between the Li River and the Peach Blossom River, the whole hill looks like a giant elephant with a long trunk, it is the symbol of Guilin city.

Day 7 : Guilin – Yangshuo – Guilin (B/ L/ D)
Full Day Li River Cruise to Yangshuo with lunch aboard and return to Guilin late in the afternoon.Depart in the morning. Be transferred for 4.5 hours wonderful cruise.You will enjoy the most beautiful mountains and water. Disembark at the one-thousand-year-old town Yangshuo in the afternoon. Have a short exploration to the old town before being transferred back to Guilin hotel.

Day 8 : Guilin – Chongqing – Yangtze River Cruise (B/ L/ D)
After breakfast,flight to Chongqing by morning flight. After a delicious local hot pot cuisine dinner, we board our Victoria Cruises vessel and begin our exciting Yangtze River adventure.

Day 9 : Yangtze River Cruise (B/ L/ D)China Tours
This morning, a shore excursion takes you to view at the legendary “Ghost City” of Fengdu, or Wanzhou, or Shibaozhai, largely depending on river conditions. Later, we continue sailing on the river.

Day 10 : Yangtze River Cruise (Qutang Gorge – Wu Gorge – Shenong Stream) (B/ L/ D)
Cruise through the first of the fabled Three Gorges : Qutang Gorge ,framed by steep mossy cliffs. Then, sail on through Wu Gorge, celebrated for its 12 peaks. At Badong, transfer to a small cruiser for an exciting excursion on Shenlong Stream to view its breathtaking small gorges. Next, sail through Xiling Gorge, the last and most scenic of all the gorges. Finally, pass through the dramatic Three Gorges Ship Lock.

Day 11 : Yangtze River Cruise (Xiling Gorge – Three Gorges Dam) – Yichang – Shanghai (B/ L/ D)
This morning, sail through Xiling Gorge and view the historic Three Gorges Dam, the largest hydroelectric project in the world. Reboard the ship and sail on to Inching where you disembark. On arrival, transfer to the airport for your afternoon flight bound for Shanghai.

DAY 5:XI’AN – GUILIN (B/L/D)
Today you will visit the Banpo Matriarch Society Historical relic site dating back 6000 years ago and Terracotta Warriors and the Horses of Emperor Qin. This site is the most significant archeological excavation of the 20th century and the museum spans an area of 16,300 square meters. In the afternoon ascend to the Hua Qing Hot Springs where emperors used to bathe and enjoy the scenic beauty. Tonight take flight for Guilin (2 hours). After dinner check into the Bravo hotel 4*..

Day 6: GUILIN (B/L/D)
A half-day cruise on the picturesque Li River, or Lijiang, is one of the key highlights during the 2 weeks trip. The river winds through needle-like limestone hills covered with lush subtropical vegetation. For centuries, the area’s incredibly beautiful mountains and rivers, the result of unique karst formation, have been an attraction for Chinese poets and artists. Disembark at Yangshuo after lunch on the boat and drive back to Guilin through the mesmerizing scenery of the countryside. After back the city visit Reed Flute Cave where is full of stelatagite and stalaimegite Stay in the same hotel.

DAY 7: GUILIN – CHONGQING (B/L/D)
This morning visit Elephant trunk Park, symbol of Guilin, then take a domestic flight to Chongqing where you would board on the Cruise ship (4* Victoria ) after dinner. During the day you could visit Panda Zoo where you can enjoy lovely panda and enjoy this hilly city view by mono-rail. After enjoying Sichun Hot Pot dinner, around 8 Pm the ship would leave Chong Qing and start river cruise. Tonight stay on board (4* Victoria ) .

DAY 8 & 9: YANGTZE RIVER CRUISE (B/L/D)
Your first stop over is at Fengdu, presumably the adobe of ghosts. This phantom city was coined after Old Fengdu sank when the first flooding of the Dam Project overwhelmed the city.
Pass through the Qutang Gorge with endless sights like the Meng Liang Staircase, Hanging Monk Rock, and Rhinoceros Looking at the Moon, Bellows Gorge, and many others.
Sail pass the Wu Gorge, which extends for 44 kilometers and has 12 peaks linking the banks to the Gorge. Legend has it that if you look carefully at the top of the Goddess Peak, you could catch a glimpse of the Goddess’s silhouette.
On the next day, the cruise would detour towards Shennong Stream (Small Three Gorges) where you would drift through impressive crystal clear rapids and deep gorges.
Enjoy the scenery as you pass through the West and East of Li Xing Gorge.

DAY 10: YICHANG – SHANGHAI – SUZHOU (B/L/D)
Finally, upon reaching Yichang Port town in the morning, marvel at the gargantuan Three Gorges Dam Project. Located at Shandouping. This arduous construction is the largest undertaken by mankind, and would be the largest dam in the world. After lunch on board disembark the ship and head for airport to catch flight for Shanghai (2 hours). (The Shore excursion during the cruise would have slight changes according to actual water level condition). Upon arrival of Shanghai, directly transfer to Suzhou by deluxe coach via toll way (1.5 hours). After dinner check into Bamboo Grove hotel 4 *

DAY 11: SUZHOU – SHANGHAI (B/L/D)
This morning you will visit Lion Grove Garden and Fish-Net Garden, both world cultural heritage sites. Explore the cultural legacies of Shanghai’s Xin Tian Di, a fashionable pedestrian street composed of Shikumen and modern architecture style. Although encompassed by antique walls, the interior breathes a dynamic air of international gallery, bars and cafes, boutiques or theme restaurants. Strolling along this new heaven on earth, you would be infused with the rustic charm of 1920s Shanghai and the sonic modern lifestyle of urbanites of the 21st century.
Absorb yourself in the Old God Temple Markets, which comprise more than 100 shops specializing in the sale of small products and souvenirs.

East China Highlights Tour

Day 1: Arrival — Shanghai (D)
The journey to Shanghai by international flight, arrive Shanghai in the afternoon and meet friendly local guide. After dinner in the local restaurant check into Golden River View hotel for recovery of jetlag.

Day 2 : Shanghai (B/L/D)
This morning we start our Shanghai tour, which includes visitation of Jade Buddha Temple, one of the famous Buddha temple in this region, visiting Yuyan Garden (typical private garden of 500 years history in Shanghai),then enjoy own shopping out side of the garden in Yuyan bazaar. Following lunch visit Nanjing Road (one of main shopping street in Shanghai and Taobao Market where all kind of knock-off products can be found). Climb Oriental TV Tower (enjoy bird-eye view of new Shanghai) and take a walk along the Bund enjoying night view of Shanghai. Stay in the same Hotel (4 star) or similar.

Day 3: Shanghai-Suzhou-Wuxi (B/L/D)
This morning the tour continue to Suzhou (1.5 hours). Known as Venice of the Orient, 25 centuries-old Suzhou is a city of culture, gardens and silk. Upon arrival we visit the Master of Fishing Nets Garden and the Lion Grove Garden; both are on UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites list. In the afternoon, we tour a silk spinning mill or the Silk Embroidery Research Institute. In the later afternoon we head for Wuxi, another picturesque city, upon arrival enjoy local cuisine in the hotel. Overnight at Kangli Hotel (4 star).

Day 4: Wuxi–Nanjing (B/L/D)
In the morning set out for Visiting Jichang Garden and fresh water pearl farming and famous Linshan Buddha statues near the lakeside. After lunch go for Nanjing through express way (2 Hours). Upon arrival visit Dr.Shen-Yat-Sen’s Mausoleum, where China’s first president buried. In the evening visit Confucius Temple (night market) after enjoying local cuisine Banquet. Check into Metro Hotel (5 star).or similar.

Day 5: Nanjing–Huangshan (B/L/D)
This morning visit Yangtze River Bridge, the first bridge over Yangtze River built by Chinese own in 1968. In the afternoon we go for Huangshan (5 hours). Yellow Mountain, one of World’s cultural heritage sites in China owns four feature of its landscape: Cloud see, Grotesque stone, unique shape pine tree and Hot spring. Upon arrival visit Song Dynasty Street and dinner in the local restaurant. Stay in the Huangshan International Hotel (4 star).

Day 6: Huangshan (B/L/D)
In the morning we go up the mountain by cable car, then whole day tour on the mountain enjoy the natural beauty of Huangshan bestowed by the God of the Nature. Stay in Lion Grove Hotel (4 star) or similar.

Day 7: Huangshan-Hangzhou (B/L/D)
This morning go down the mountain by cable car ,then directly transfer to Hangzhou via toll way (4 hours), upon arrival we take West Lake cruise followed by visiting Flower Harbor Viewing Fish Garden and enjoying China’s most famous green tea in the tea plantation village. In the evening free walk along the West Lake bank or shopping in the city central area. Tonight stay in the Tianyuan hotel 4 star.

Day 8: Hangzhou– Guilin (B/L/D)
This morning fly to picturesque city Guilin (2 hours). Upon arrival visit Elephant trunk Park, symbol of Guilin and Reed Flute Cave where is full of stelatagite and stalaimegite Stay in the Bravo hotel 4 star or similar.

Day 9: Guilin (B/L/D)
A half-day cruise on the picturesque Li River, or Lijiang, is one of the key highlights during the 2 weeks trip. The river winds through needle-like limestone hills covered with lush subtropical vegetation. For centuries, the area’s incredibly beautiful mountains and rivers, the result of unique karst formation, have been an attraction for Chinese poets and artists. Disembark at Yangshuo after lunch on the boat and drive back to Guilin through the mesmerizing scenery of the countryside. After dinner enjoy free walk along the neon-lit lake bank near by hotel. Stay in the same hotel.

Day 10: Guilin–Hong Kong (B)
This morning fly for Hong Kong (1 hour), finish whole tour on china mainland.

In the morning dart through Old Beijing ‘Hutongs’ on a rickshaw with its narrow lanes and traditional courtyard houses. In the afternoon you would be taken by domestic flight from the Capital City of China to Xian.

Xi’an the capital of the Shaanxi Province is a world-renowned ancient city, having more than 1 million years of condensed history. During Xian’s 3,100 years of development, 13 dynasties such as Zhou, Qin, Han and Tang, held it as their capitals. Upon arrival you will visit City Wall preserved from Ming Dynasty.

Day 6:Xi’an – Guilin (B/-/-)

Today you will visit the Terracotta Warriors and the Horses of Emperor Qin. This site is the most significant archeological excavation of the 20th century and the museum spans an area of 16,300 square meters. In the afternoon ascend to the Hua Qing Hot Springs where emperors used to bathe and enjoy the scenic beauty. Tonight take flight for Guilin (2 hours).

Travel 120 km south of Kunming to the Stone Forest. Once an Ocean floor forced above ground by shifting subterranean plates, today the Stone Forest is a labyrinth of limestone rock formations jutting into the sky like trees. Meet members of Yi tribe, one of the 27 nationality groups in Yunnan.In the later afternoon back to Kunming city and stay in same hotel.

Take morning flight to Dali after breakfast. Located on the slope of Diancang Mountain, and known as ‘Switzerland of the Orient’, Dali, is the home of the Bai nationality that founded their kingdom 1,200 years ago. Our tour of Dali starts from a cruise on boundless Erhai Lake with its unmatchable charming scenery and experience fishermen’s daily life. The Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Monastery, built in 823 AD and stands in a triangular pattern giving the locals a feeling of majesty and grandeur. The Butterfly Spring and the ancient streets with old-fashioned wooden houses.

Today, we travel to Xizhou, 16 miles north of Dali and see Bai people’s weekdays markets, where traders and merchants from the deep valleys of the surrounding landscape, gather to ply their trade. We’ll visit local households, a form of enclosed compounds called ‘san fang yi zhao bi’, meaning rooms on three sides and a wall screen on the fourth. Experience the unique way in which tea is offered three times in succession in the Bai’s fashion, see the vivid and lifelike soaring birds and roaming animals, exotic flowers and strange herbs embroidered by the Bai girls, and enjoy a taste of the delicacies in Bai flavour. Stay in the same hotel.

Day 12: Dali-Lijiang (B/-/-)

The journey to Lijiang offers spectacular scenery with mountain ranges and high passes carpeted in wildflowers. A stop at the Tiger Leaping Gorge, one of the most spectacular natural sights, where a tributary of the Yangtze River plunges beneath sheer cliff faces, surrounded by soaring snow-capped mountains. A beautiful town with narrow cobblestone streets that criss-cross small canals, Lijiang is home to the Naxi people, resplendent in their royal blue tunics.

Visit a Naxi village. You will be struck by an atmosphere of quaintness and simplicity. The houses built of adobes and wooden struts and beams are usually decorated with fish designs.
